Bay Suite

The suite is organised around a pierced white breeze-block screen that separates the entrance and dining end from the living end, throwing a lattice of shadow across the floor as the sun goes round. Behind it a deep indigo sofa banked with cushions, two round marble tables, a console under a printed shade, a ceiling fan. The bedroom has a scalloped white headboard and a mirrored alcove beside it, and the bathroom finally has what the Bay Room does not: a freestanding tub as well as a separate shower.

Outside there is both a balcony and a terrace with striped bolster daybeds on it. The outlook is precise: every Bay Suite has a direct sea view, of either Phang Nga Bay or Yamu Bay. Both are water and neither is the hinterland, but which bay is a matter of which suite. One king or two twins. Sleeps 3, with the third a child. The area runs from 100 to 144 square metres.
