Dogaressa Suite sits on its own in Palazzo Vendramin, the hotel's 18th-century annexe across the Casanova Gardens from the main building, 122 square metres furnished with original Coromandel screens, antiques and Fortuny and Rubelli fabrics. Tall Gothic windows in the living room look straight across the lagoon to St Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace, while the master bedroom faces the other way, over the Palazzo's own gardens.

A dining table for 4 sits beside a fully equipped kitchenette, and the pink marble bathroom runs to double vanities and a separate walk-in shower. Round-trip transfers, a butler, daily breakfast and a stocked in-suite bar are included, with laundry sent out at no extra charge.
