Alcova Tiepolo Suite

Giovanni Battista Tiepolo is remembered as the greatest decorative painter of 18th-century Europe, and this is the room built around his work: gilded stucco garlands and painted cherubs cover the bedroom ceiling, in the Rococo style he worked in. A separate sitting room carries its own painted chinoiserie panels, a marble fireplace and tall windows onto the Garden Terrace, and is a genuine second room rather than a corner of the first.

The bedroom keeps a king bed and an en-suite dressing room of its own; the bathroom runs to twin vessel basins under a tall mirror. An armoire in the sitting room is fitted with a personal bar.
