The Imperial Suite

The entrance carries a magnificent marble fireplace under a large Victorian mirror, and the walls hold artworks, antiques and lithographs collected across the building's whole life — among them Nautch Girl, an oil painting by Archibald Herman Muller. The veranda lounge, 63 square metres of its own, is furnished with antique silver pieces and life-size paintings of Indian Maharajas, and connects to a colonial study.

The bedroom holds a four-poster king-size bed and a spa-like bathroom with steam, sauna and jacuzzi facilities, a double vanity, a dressing room and a walk-in closet. Multiple butler entrances and a dedicated kitchen give the suite its own privacy, and it comes with access to the hotel's Executive Lounge.
