Luxury King Bed Room

It is 2 square metres more than the Superior, and all of them went on one thing: a sitting corner far enough from the bed that you can read there at 6 in the morning without waking anybody.

The floor changes too: parquet rather than carpet, which is what the older rooms here have and what most refurbishments take out. A rosewood headboard, a teal bench at the foot of the bed, and framed botanicals instead of the monuments downstairs.

Still no view, and still no pretence of one. This is where the room becomes somewhere you would spend an afternoon rather than only a night, and if you are in Delhi to work it is the first one worth the money.
