Grand Luxury Twin Bed Room

It is 42 square metres with two beds in it, and quieter than the king version: flowered paper with a gold band above the picture rail, carved dark headboards, and a Persian runner laid between the beds.

The sitting corner is where the metres went: a blue velvet chaise, a low table, and a writing desk turned to the window at the far end. There is enough floor between the beds and the seating that two people can be doing different things at the same time, which is the entire case for a room this size.

It is the only room short of the suites where two colleagues can work in the same space for a week without it becoming a negotiation.
