Executive Suite

This is where you stop paying for space and start paying for a door. It is 51 square metres, and the 9 that separate it from a Grand Luxury Room are the wall between the sitting end and the bed.

The sitting end is a small library: burl-wood shelving either side of an arch, a grey wing chair, a low yellow table, a chequered marble floor. You can receive two people in it without anybody looking at where you sleep, which in Delhi matters more than it sounds.

Behind it: blossom-painted paper, a long day bed at the foot of the bed, and curtains that reach the floor. It is not a large suite at 51 square metres, and it wastes none of them.
