Claridges Suite

A hotel naming a suite after itself usually means nothing. Here it means something: this is the one room at The Claridges that nothing else in the building resembles, and if you had to explain the hotel with a single room it would be this one rather than the Presidential.

Pale blue and gold throughout, green marble columns in the sitting room, a coffered ceiling over the bed with a cut-glass chandelier under it, and a white sofa turned to face the foot of the bed rather than a television. The dining end seats 6 at a table with chinoiserie panels behind it.
