A low marble step carries a run of gold banquettes under their own line of arches, above the rest of the tables. Ask for one if you want to sit above the room rather than level with it.
The card runs in 2 directions from the tandoor. A straight à la carte sits alongside 2 full thalis, one vegetarian and one not, and both move through the same shape — the grill, a broth, the wood fire, then something sweet. Ordering one is closer to ordering the whole kitchen in miniature than to choosing a single dish.
