The bed faces straight through glazed doors into a walled court of its own — plunge pool along one side, jaali screens at the edge, a day bed under an umbrella, and a wall high enough that none of it is anybody else's business.
The wall is the whole design. A private courtyard in a city house only works if the wall is right, and here it is: you can swim at 11 at night, or eat breakfast in a dressing gown, without arranging anything with anybody. Tea arrives on the terrace without being rung for. The room is 55 square metres, and the court is where you will actually be.
