The Ocean House

Same drawing, different plot, and the plot is what you are choosing. This one sits along a quieter stretch of the shore with jungle pressing in on 3 sides — from directly above it reads as two planted roofs set at a right angle with the pool and its loungers in the courtyard between them, and almost nothing else visible. Inside, the sitting room's sofas are drawn round a low table under a framed opening, with a courtyard of hanging greenery to one side and the water framed square in the window opposite, like a picture somebody hung.

The dining table seats 10 under a rack of glass pendants and the glass along one whole side opens onto the pool deck; from the chaise in the sitting room you look past the covered terrace and the day beds to the sea flat and pale between the trunks of the beach trees. Garden courtyards, shaded terraces, a private pool, and Emerald Bay a few steps away. It takes 5 guests.
