Royal Suite

There are 5 of these in the whole palace, and the step up from a Historical Suite is not simply more floor — it is ceiling height, and the windows that come with it.

The sitting room takes light from two sides, which means it is a different room at 11 and at 5. The bedroom has a dressing room rather than a wardrobe. The plasterwork overhead was done by hand for this room and for no other, which you can see if you look up, and almost nobody does. Gardens on one side or the marble courtyard on the other; the concierge will tell you which is quieter in the week you are coming, and will mean it.
