Two in the house, at 139 square metres each. This was a private apartment rather than a guest room, and you can read that in the layout: rooms open into rooms rather than off a corridor, and there is a dining table where a hotel would have put a second bed.

Silver-leaf ceilings, a bathroom in Makrana marble, and windows the full height of the wall onto the Mughal gardens. Short of the Maharaja's own apartment it is the best room in the palace, which is also why it is so often already taken.
