Deluxe Terrace Room

Same interior language, more of it, and a better corner. At 50 square metres there is a little more air around the furniture, and the corner position means glass on two sides, so the room takes light from first thing until last. King bed only in this room — there is no twin layout here — with the terracotta arch behind it, the cane ceiling above it and the sunken tub through the door.

The terrace is the reason to take it. Double doors open onto a proper outdoor room: rough plaster walls at seat height with a long cushioned banquette built into them, two octagonal pierced-metal tables, teak loungers, a barasti roof of poles and matting overhead for shade, and open desert past the rail. Between October and April this is where breakfast, the afternoon and dinner all happen, and it is the difference between having a view and living in it. Between June and September it is a hot terrace, and the honest advice is to take the Balcony Room, which looks at the same dune.
