The Villa's ground floor holds 2 dining rooms with frescoed ceilings, and this is the one that opens for dinner.
The cooking follows the idea of grand villa cuisine. That is how Italy's noble families ate at home each season: a chef who travelled with them from the city house to the country house, working from whatever the local growers, foragers and artisans had that week.
