Suite
Smaller than the Superior rooms below it, and a different thing altogether. The suite runs living and dining at one end, a king bed under a carved silver headboard behind it, and — the best of it — a separate study, with a marble-topped desk, a leather blotter and two armchairs turned to the window. It is a room to work in rather than a desk in a corner, which in a city where half the arrivals are here on business is better planning than most suites manage.
The dressing area has a walk-in wardrobe, a Hollywood vanity and a freestanding mosaic-tiled bathtub. But the reason to step up to this grade is not the plan. From here upward every rate includes a butler around the clock, the ORO Lounge with its breakfast, afternoon tea and sundowners, a credit of about AED 150 at The Spa, a welcome bottle, and return airport transfers on a stay of 3 nights or more. It holds 4, 3 of them adults at most.
A child is 12 or under.
