Room
At 50 square metres this is a generous entry room anywhere and a very generous one in this city, and what fills it is the reason to be here. The bed sits under an upholstered headboard in the same silk print as the bedspread. There is a tufted bench across the foot, a proper armchair and table rather than a token seat, a Greek key running in black round the cornice, and a marquetry parquet floor laid in squares. The palette on this side of the building is salmon and cream with the odd note of gold, and it is applied to everything at once — linen, cushions, curtains, lampshades — in a way that would be exhausting in a smaller room and is simply confident at this size.
The bathroom is Carrara marble with a hand-cut mosaic border set into it at eye level, a bath under a lit alcove and a separate walk-in rain shower. Beyond the sheers there is a balcony over the Jaddaf Waterfront and the towers behind it. It comes with a king or with twin beds, chosen when you book rather than by looking for a different room. It holds 3 people in total, however the third arrives; this grade will not take a fourth.
