Residence Prestige Room

This room runs 8 square metres larger than an Arabian Court Deluxe Room, and it is a different stay entirely — because of where it is rather than what is in it. The Residence is the adults-only estate: fewer rooms, its own pool behind its own hedge, its own dining room and library bar, and a named host instead of a desk. The room itself is modern Arabian and calm — a king or 2 beds under a carved white headboard between pierced screens, a sitting area, and a spa-style bathroom with the vanity under arched mirrors and a bath in the alcove beyond.

The balcony is 8 square metres and looks over palms and the estate's gardens, with the sea beyond by day and the stars over it at night. Two guests and no more: the whole of The Residence is capped that way, and there is no child allowance at any grade in it. What the rate carries is the argument for being here — breakfast, afternoon tea every day, a 60-minute treatment per person per stay, the Fitness Centre, and the pool nobody's children are in.
