Garden Villa

You arrive at this one down its own driveway, which sets the tone before the door is open. Inside is contemporary with Arabesque detailing: a majlis-style lounge with long low seating round the walls under a carved timber ceiling, a dining room with a table for 8 under a hanging lantern, a chef's kitchenette, and 2 master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms — one of them with a freestanding tub in a room of its own.

The garden is the other half. A walled enclosure with a pool at the centre of it, a white gazebo at the far end, loungers along one side and palms overhead; and, down on the sand, a personal beach gazebo that belongs to the villa. It holds 6 guests. The rate carries what makes a villa a villa rather than a large room: return airport transfers in Dubai, a welcome bottle of Champagne, in-villa breakfast, a dedicated host, a 60-minute treatment each, and one personal training session in the villa per stay.
