One Bedroom Ocean Suite

It runs as a series of rooms: a living room with a dining area and a mini bar, a separate bedroom with a study and a walk-in closet, a bathroom with its own toilet and shower, a guest washroom by the door, and 3 terraces along the outer wall. The living room takes sofas and armchairs round a carved table with the dining table beyond them, and the light comes in from two sides.

The terrace is the reason to pay for it. It is deep enough to lay a table on, framed by a carved timber arch on turned columns, and what it frames is the Burj Al Arab standing on the water past the wind towers and the palms. At 6 the whole thing goes gold and the sail lights up. The ceiling is 4 guests at most, of whom 3 may be adults: the largest one-bedroom suite in this house takes no more people than the smallest room does.
