The corner suite, and the corner is the point: the glass turns and the sea comes with it, so you get the sun arriving over one shoulder and leaving over the other without moving. A separate living room, a king behind its own door, a bathroom with a hot tub, and a terrace rather than a balcony.

It is 55 square metres more than the Sea View Suite, and every one of them faces the water. Take it if you are here for the sea rather than for the building.

The room

The living room: cream sofas and armchairs round a pair of low tables under a shell-shaped gilt ceiling rose, a lacquer screen at the right and the dining table beyond.

The dining area — a round timber table and four chairs beneath a spoked brass chandelier, framed drawings on the wall and a pierced screen filtering the light from the window.
