Water Villa with Pool

Blond wood, glass and lagoon light. The bedroom opens entirely to the sea — not a window onto it, a wall that goes away — so the first thing that happens each morning is the light off the water arriving in the room before you have decided to be awake.

The pool sits on the deck, angled at the sunset, which is a decision somebody made by standing there at 6 in the evening and looking. The villa is 220 square metres over the lagoon on stilts, and the bath looks out at the same water the bedroom does.
