Island Villa, One Bedroom

Everything here happens at the level of the sand. The villa opens onto beach you can walk straight off, the pool is at ground level, and at no point in 240 square metres is there a ladder down into a lagoon or a deck edge to keep a child away from.

The planting on this part of the island is old enough to give real shade by mid-morning, which matters more over a week than any measurement does. The trade is the obvious one: no glass floor, no fish under the bed, and a sunset watched from a chair rather than from the water.
