Garden Water Villa, One Bedroom

Despite the name, this one is still overwater: the same 220 square metres as the Water Villa, on the same stilts, with the same 12.5-metre pool.

What it has instead of open lagoon on every side is a walled garden on the deck, with its own dining table under the trees. You give up some horizon and get a breakfast nobody on a passing boat can see. Couples who have done the Maldives once tend to choose this on the second visit, having worked out that the horizon is there from the pool anyway.
