Garden Room

The Garden grades are the quiet half of this house and they are not a lesser version of the rooms upstairs. The glass along one wall slides away completely, and what is on the other side is not a view but a place: 49 square metres of planted, walled garden belonging to this room alone, with a deck, seating and greenery closing it in on every side. You step out of bed into it. There is no city in the outlook and no water in it either — the trade is privacy, and you get it.

Inside it is the language the whole building speaks: pale plaster, oak, a marble bath and a walk-in shower, the woven headboard, the scarlet-bordered blanket. A king or 2 queens, at the same price. Two guests, and the beach is a short walk beyond the hedge.
