The room itself is the entry room — bed against the panelled wall under the coral relief, a sofa and low table at the glass, a white marble bathroom with twin basins, a stand-alone tub and a walk-in shower. Nothing about the plan changes. It is sold facing either the Palm or the sea.

What you are buying is the Royal Club Sea Lounge on the lower ground floor, and the way it rearranges a day. Check-in and check-out happen up there rather than in the lobby. Breakfast is served in it. Afternoon tea, then a canapé spread through the Royal Hour in the early evening, then premium spirits, wine and champagne all day without a bill. Royal Club is sold for the whole of a stay; it cannot be added for a single night.
